A 7-day Jewish Heritage tour to Israel is an ideal time to explore the Holy Land in-depth. You will reach its biblical sites and modern-era destinations, absorbing Israel in all dimensions. From the Golan Heights to the Dead Sea and biblical Jerusalem to Innovation centers at Tel-Aviv. This tour will unfold many of Israel’s known highlights and some of its best-hidden gems.
Welcome to Israel! After assistance with passport control and baggage claim, your journey begins along the Mediterranean coast. The first stop is Caesarea, once a great Roman metropolis. Here you will discover the impressive visitor center, walk through the remains of Herod’s grand harbor, and explore the city that once hosted gladiators, traders, and governors. If time allows, continue to the Atlit Detainee Camp, where in the 1940s the British detained Jewish immigrants seeking to reach the Land of Israel,

Your morning starts with an optional sail on the Sea of Galilee from Tiberias to Kibbutz Ginosar, and then visit Magdala, where a first-century synagogue and a mysterious decorated stone still puzzle scholars. In Tiberias, pause at the tomb of Maimonides and learn about discoveries possibly linked to the Sanhedrin in both ancient Tiberias and Hamath Tiberias. Next, drive south past the Kinneret farm and cemetery, birthplace of kibbutz life and the pioneering movement, and continue to Beit She’an for a typical Israeli barbecue lunch and a tour of the remarkable Roman remains. By sunset, you will reach Jerusalem, pausing at the Mount of Olives for a panoramic view and a moving “Shehecheyanu” blessing.
Drive into the Judean Desert, pausing at the Sea Level sign for a short camel ride and photo opportunity. Ascend to the fortress of Masada, where King Herod’s palaces overlook the desert and where Jewish rebels made their final stand against Rome. Continue to Kibbutz Ein Gedi for an authentic lunch and a stroll through its famous botanical gardens, or choose instead to dine and float at a Dead Sea resort hotel, experiencing the mineral-rich waters firsthand. On the return journey, stop at Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered in caves, before driving west to Tel Aviv.
