Proposed Tour Itinerary

DAY 1: March 17th, Tuesday – Arrival and Caesarea

  • Drive north along the Mediterranean coast toward Caesarea Maritima. Explore Herod’s harbor city, once the Roman capital of Judea.
  • Reflect on Paul’s imprisonment and early Christian presence in Caesarea.
    Continue to the Galilee region for check in.

Overnight in Tiberias

DAY 2: March 18th, Wednesday – Sea of Galilee and Mount Tabor

  • Visit Capernaum, the ministry center of Jesus. Explore the synagogue ruins and Peter’s house church.
  • Visit the Mount of Beatitudes overlooking the lake. Time for reflection by the water where Jesus taught and called disciples.
  • Ascend Mount Tabor, traditionally identified with the Transfiguration. Panoramic views of the Jezreel Valley and Lower Galilee.

DAY 3: March 19th, Thursday – Tel Dan, Caesarea Philippi, and Golan Heights

  • Travel north to Tel Dan at the sources of the Jordan River. Walk through the ancient city gate dating to the time of the patriarchs, and reach Jeroboam’s cultic center.
  • Continue to Caesarea Philippi at the foot of Mount Hermon.
    Visit the site of Peter’s confession of Jesus as the Messiah.
  • Drive through the Golan Heights with scenic biblical landscapes.
  • Optional Lunch and hospitality experience with a Druze Family.

DAY 4: March 20th, Friday – Cana, Nazareth, and Megiddo

  • megiddoDepart the Galilee toward Lower Galilee and Jezreel Valley.
  • Visit Cana, where Jesus performed His first miracle at the wedding feast.
  • Continue to Nazareth, the town of Jesus’ upbringing. Visit the Basilica of the Annunciation and Nazareth Village area.
  • Drive to Tel Megiddo overlooking the Jezreel Valley. Explore the ancient city connected with Armageddon prophecy.
  • Continue south toward Jerusalem.

DAY 5: March 21st, Saturday – Bethlehem and Baptism Site

  • Visit the Church of the Nativity built over the birthplace of Jesus.
  • Explore nearby shepherd fields recalling the angelic announcement.
  • Continue to the Jordan River baptism site at Qasr al Yahud. Reflect on the baptism of Jesus and covenant renewal.

DAY 6: March 22nd, Sunday – Mount of Olives and City of David

  • Begin on the Mount of Olives with a panoramic view of Jerusalem.
  • Visit the Garden of Gethsemane, where Jesus was arrested. Walk among ancient olive trees linked to Jesus’ final prayers.
  • Enter the City of David, ancient Jerusalem of King David.
  • Walk through Hezekiah’s Tunnel with flowing water.
  • Conclude at the Pool of Siloam, site of healing in John’s Gospel.
  • Ascend up the newly opened Pilgrimage Road to the Southern Wall Archaeological Park.

DAY 7: March 23rd, Monday – Temple Mount and Christian Quarter

  • Holy Sepulchre Jerusalem ShutterstockVisit the Temple Mount area from designated viewing points. Discuss the First and Second Temple periods and Jesus’ teachings there.
  • Continue to the Pools of Bethesda where Jesus healed the paralytic.
  • Walk the Via Dolorosa following the path of the cross.
  • Enter the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Visit Calvary and the empty tomb. Time for prayer and reflection.

Overnight in Jerusalem

DAY 8: March 24th, Tuesday – Modern History and Jerusalem Valleys

  • Visit Ammunition Hill, memorial of the 1967 battle for Jerusalem. Explore the Western Wall and its historical setting.
  • Pass by the Vatican Embassy and discuss Christian diplomatic presence.
  • Drive through the Valley of the Giants, also known as Rephaim Valley. Discuss biblical geography and modern Jerusalem development.

DAY 9: March 25th, Wednesday – Masada and the Dead Sea

  • Visit Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Discuss the Essenes and the biblical text tradition.
  • Drive through the Oasis of Ein Gedi Nature Reserve.
  • Tour Masada and review its dramatic role in Jewish History.
  • Continue to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth. Time for floating and relaxation.

Overnight in Jerusalem

DAY 10: March 26th, Thursday – Shephela and Jaffa

  • Explore valleys connected to David and Goliath
  • Track a discovery relating to the Ark of the Covenant in Tel Beth-Shemesh.
  • Visit Emmaus, where Jesus appeared after his resurrection.
  • Continue to ancient Jaffa, port of Jonah and Peter. Visit St Peter’s Church and overlook the Mediterranean Sea.
  • Free time in Old Jaffa streets.

DAY 11: March 27th, Friday – Departure

  • Morning transfer to Ben Gurion Airport.
  • Flight departure around noon.
  • Farewell and l’Hitra’ot! (“See you again” in Hebrew).
